Germany Trip Take Two: Electric Boogaloo

Oh-ho-ho

Did you think this blog was dead? No such luck ladies and gents. I’m returning to Germany in a few days. This time with back up. My dear compatriot Allan and I are about to take Deustchland by storm.

Hopefully this time around I’ll be able to actually keep up with this blog! There will be more pictures! More fabulousness! Or maybe not.

Either way! All of the excitement~

KINDER EGGS.

It was the size of an ostrich egg and I devoured it all.

Mom helped.

This is the ANTI-FASCIST PROTECTIVE BARRIER, anything you’ve heard about a ‘Berlin Wall’ is just western propaganda. We built it to defend our beautiful Communist Paradise :D

A lovely house I passed by today.

The bakery I’ve found down the street. These ladies were very kind to me even though my German is atrocious.

Finally in Germany

I arrived yesterday afternoon. Due to time change shenanigans I’m having trouble convincing my body that it is in fact six in the morning and that I should sleep for another four hours or so. THIS MEANS I SHOULD WRITE UP A BIG TEXT POST, RIGHT? RIGHT.

We visited the loveliest Christmas market yesterday! I was very sleepy and forgot to bring my camera but We’ll go back on Wednesday so I’ll be sure to remember it then. We saw the most beautiful handcrafts and pottery. I’m thinking about buying a set of polish-style tea-cups and plates. Because I am apparently suddenly a grown-up and am now interested in pretty dinnerware. Yes.

I’ll write more when I’m less jet-lagged. Also I promise there will be more pcitures! this blog won’t be entirely tl;drs. I promise. Sort of.

Trapped in Minneapolis for the next two hours.

Somebody save me.
